Is Chinese art Performance dying?
I was quite excited to go to the second edition of the performance festival in Caochangdi, I was already dreaming about Zhang Huan, Zhu Ming and the East village performances… but at the end I was quite disappointed… nothing interesting was going on there. I hopefully ended up at Caochangdi workstation/ living dance studio and saw the second part of the May festival where young choreographers’ were showing their new choreographic works. Some of the outdoors performances were pretty interesting…
