The Swatch art Peace Hotel Residency
The Swatch Art Peace Hotel Artist Residency invites artists to apply online for a residency in Shanghai. The residency welcomes emerging and mid-carrer artists from around the world, working with all kind of art medium are welcome as dance, music, photography, filmmaking, writing, visual art and conceptual art.
The residency offers the selected candidates a studio and support for a period of residence from three months up to six. (18 studios are available) The program offers assistance when applying for a visa and covers among others travel costs (one round flight) to Shanghai. Every artist is entitled to hold an ‘Open Studio’ in their own working space at the end of the stay. However no artist residency exhibition will be held in the hotel. At
the end of your stay, you will be asked to leave a ‘trace’ of your stay which will represent you in the Virtual Museum of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel’s website.
